Lean Cuisine and Stouffer’s Frozen Meals Recalled Due to Potential Contamination

Nestlé USA has issued a recall of several Lean Cuisine and Stouffer’s frozen meals after receiving consumer complaints about wood-like material found in some products. The recall includes a report of a potential choking incident.

According to a notice posted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Nestlé is actively investigating the source of the contamination and has taken steps to prevent further incidents.

Recalled Products and Batch Numbers

The affected frozen meals were distributed nationwide, including at major retailers such as Walmart and Kroger. The recall covers products produced between September 2024 and March 2025.

What to Do If You Purchased These Products

Consumers who purchased any of the recalled meals should not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where it was purchased for a replacement or a refund.
